“The hottest, hippest, busiest dining scene in the Hub is Park Square,” wrote the Boston Globe. And it’s here in what the article pinpointed as “close by the city's flourishing avant-garde furniture shops [that] Davio's... packed almost nightly and boasting Saturday night reservations four weeks out,” features a gorgeous 9,000-square foot restaurant.

In the fall of 2002, after 17 years on Newbury Street, Davio's relocated to 75 Arlington Street. Handsomely filling the first floor of the legendary Paine Furniture Building in Park Square, the room's urbane sophistication remains true to the integrity of this landmark Back Bay structure while fulfilling owner Steve DiFillippo's restaurant wish list.

Boston Dining Room

The space has allowed Davio's to build an enormous open kitchen backed with a bakery where both pastry chef and baker make all of the desserts and breads offered here and at our nearby sister restaurant, Avila (www.avilarestaurant.com). A temperature-controlled wine room holds more than 300 different bottles while two full-time wine stewards are employed. An all-season café in the adjacent atrium of the 10 St. James Building is open Monday through Friday for takeout foods including morning pastries and coffee followed by midday sandwiches, salads, pizza and pastas and a wide-range of desserts. Arrive for dinner, and the 10 St. James Garage features underground parking- Sunday through Thursday for $7.50, Friday and Saturday for $9.50 (with a Davio's validated parking receipt, only after 5:00 pm and for a maximum of 3 hours). Take the elevator to the restaurant where a wonderful evening of sophisticated dining and pleasure await.
