Join Davio’s Thomas Heck and other renowned Philadeplhia pastry chefs for this gingerbread house demonstration and workshop.
This holiday season, Davio’s Philadelphia is throwing a house party. A gingerbread house party, that is.
On December 9th, 2012, from 12:00–3:00 pm, children of all ages are invited to participate in a one-of-a-kind workshop with some of Philadelphia’s renowed pastry chefs, including chef Robert Bennett of Classic Cake, chef Jennifer Smith of Le Bec Fin, chef Jessie Prawlucki of Bell Cakery and FOND, and Bredenbeck’s sugar artist, chef Diana Anello! Join pastry chef Thomas Heck of Davio’s to lead a demonstration and workshop, teaching guests how to build personalized gingerbread houses fit for the North Pole!
The event is $50.00 per child, and adult admission is free. Each participating child will receive one gingerbread house to decorate (with delectable decorations included courtesy of Nuts to You); a buffet lunch; and the chance to meet Santa, himself, for some photos! This event is sweet as can be with gingerbread, marshmallows, and all kinds of candy.
In the generous spirit of the holidays, we ask that each family help in one small way: arrive at the workshop with one unwrapped toy and help Toys for Tots spread the seasonal joy!
